Come join a basic and effective 2 hour self-defense workshop:
– Practice effective self-defense techniques including groundwork for trips and falls
– Understanding situational awareness and boundaries
– Use safety strategies to protect yourself from harm
– Recognize verbal, emotional and physical cues to stay safe

Feel confident and strong while practicing these techniques in a safe and supportive environment with other women. Group work and one on one discussions. No experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Kid friendly.

Instructor’s Bio
Michelle Tremblay is a 2nd Degree Black in Karate, she has 20 yrs experience of martial arts and self-defense training. Her company MPower Lives has worked with over 15,000 children, women, adults and seniors nationwide to mpower change through their mental and physical health such as martial arts, yoga, mindfulness and resilience strategies. She is passionate about serving her community with specific projects such as mpowering women in Tri-Cities Transition House to a partnership with School District #43 and DowhatLuv Foundation to offer after school programs to support children’s mental, emotional and social well being.
